Services

Financial planning that meets you where you are.

Your financial life doesn't fit neatly into separate categories.

Income, taxes, investments, retirement, business decisions, insurance, and estate planning all affect one another. We help bring those pieces together so you can make informed decisions with a clear understanding of the bigger picture.

Choose the level of support that makes sense for you.

The Difference

The difference is who carries the work.

The planning process is built around the same philosophy.

What changes is how much support you want after the initial plan is complete.

How the Services Work Together

Planning comes first. Investment management is part of the bigger picture.

We don't start with your investment portfolio.

We start by understanding your financial life.

Once we understand your income, cash flow, taxes, goals, risk, and time horizon, we can determine what role your investments should play.

That's why our Wealth Management service combines financial planning with portfolio management.

The portfolio serves the plan—not the other way around.

Tax-Aware Planning

Your financial decisions have tax consequences.

When you're earning significant income or building substantial wealth, taxes can influence nearly every major financial decision.

A Roth conversion affects your tax bill today and future retirement income.

An investment sale can create a capital-gains liability.

A business distribution can change your cash flow and estimated taxes.

An equity-compensation decision can create both tax and investment consequences.

We look at those connections when we're making recommendations.

When appropriate, we coordinate with your CPA and other professional advisors so everyone is working from the same financial picture.

Who These Services Are For

Built for financially successful people with complicated decisions.

Our clients are typically:

Business Owners

People who have built successful businesses and want their business, taxes, cash flow, investments, and personal wealth working together.

Executives & High-Income Professionals

People whose compensation and income have created more financial opportunities—and more decisions to make.

Equity-Compensated Professionals

People navigating RSUs, stock options, bonuses, concentrated positions, and the tax decisions that come with them.

You don't need to have every financial decision figured out before you reach out.

That's what the planning process is for.

FAQ

Which service should I choose?

You don't have to decide before we talk.

Our initial conversation is designed to understand your situation and determine whether we're a good fit. From there, we'll explain which level of service makes the most sense based on the amount of planning and implementation support you want.

Can I start with the One-Time Financial Plan and become an ongoing client later?

Yes.

The One-Time Financial Plan is designed to stand on its own, but for many clients it becomes the foundation for an ongoing relationship.

What do I receive from the One-Time Financial Plan?

We build your financial picture in RightCapital, analyze the key planning areas, and present our recommendations to you in a dedicated plan presentation.

At the end of that meeting, we'll establish a course of action and identify any decisions that still need to be made.

You'll receive a written follow-up summarizing the recommendations and action items.

The value is not a large PDF report.

It's having a clear understanding of your financial situation, the decisions in front of you, and what to do next.

Does Ongoing Planning include investment management?

No.

Ongoing Planning includes financial planning, decision support, implementation assistance, and coordination, but you retain responsibility for managing your investment accounts.

If you'd like professional portfolio management as part of the relationship, Wealth Management combines the two.

Can I work with you if my CPA manages my taxes?

Absolutely.

In fact, coordination with your CPA can be an important part of the planning relationship.

We don't replace your CPA. We work alongside them when financial and tax decisions overlap.

Do you require a minimum investment?

No investment minimum is required to begin with financial planning.

The One-Time Financial Plan is available whether or not you ultimately choose to have your investments managed by us.

Not sure which service is right for you?

That's exactly what the first conversation is for.

We'll talk about what's happening in your financial life, what you're trying to accomplish, and where you could use help.

Then we'll explain how we can work together.
